Cates—Kenneth J. Osborn, 78, Cates, died at 11:34 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989, at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.
  He was born March 22, 1910 in Cates, the son of John and Leffie Booe Osborn. He married Pauline Wilson, who survives.
  He was a life resident of Cates. He was a self employed painter and construction worker and was retired. His special interests were flowers and bingo.
  Surviving besides his wife are two stepsons, Charles DeLattre, Danville, and Wayne Wilson, Catlin, Ill.; a foster daughter, Pam Laperle Fudge, Kingman; a sister, Mildred Laperle, Cates; a brother, Donald, Punta Gorda, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers.
  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Friday) at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Rod Overpeck officiating. Burial will be in Kingman fraternal Cemetery. – thanks to s
